With more and more strippers now being featured in men's magazines especially now as featured eye candy, we are forced to ask the question; "Are the lines between stripper & eye candy model erased?" It seems the new trend for strippers to make their transition into the mainstream society is through men's magazines. Long gone are the days of finding beautiful women who are actually just modeling or in videos. Now 8 out of 10 models in men's magazines can be found in your local strip clubs or hosting most of the men's magazines parties in strip clubs. Long gone are the days where KING magazine or Black Men's magazine would throw the big extravaganza events in high end venues with the creme de la creme of the industry attending and it was the hottest ticket in town. Now, to find half of the eye candy models in men's magazines just find the most popular strip clubs in states like NY, Georgia & Florida.
With this new trend of strippers being the new eye candy is the line between model and stripper blurred? The prestige of being the featured model within a select few magazines use to hold weight. Now, like most industries in this modern time, it is flooded with so many people (and mags) trying to do it, has the shine completely diminished from the profession of the urban model? We will leave that answer for you. For now, just some food for thought.
